Rule. The learned AGP waives service for respondent nos.1 and 2. The learned Counsel Smt. Renge - Doke waives service for respondent nos.3 and 4. Rule made returnable forthwith. Taken up for final hearing by consent of the parties. 2.

By this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners are seeking directions to the respondents to give fresh postings to the petitioners on the vacant posts, which are available with the Zilla Parishad. The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that various posts are lying vacant, where the petitioners can be transferred.

The learned Counsel for the petitioners agrees to place on record the status of the vacancies, if any, available with the Zilla Parishad.

The learned Counsel for the Zilla Parishad opposed the said contention.

The representation/s is/are filed by the petitioners. The same shall be considered by the Zilla Parishad within a period of four weeks from today.

The order, that would be passed by the Zilla Parishad, shall be communicated to the petitioners within one week from the date of passing of the said order. If the representation/s of the petitioners is / are accepted, they be given postings on the vacant posts available with the Zilla Parishad. If the order that would be passed in adverse to the interest of the petitioners, the petitioners are at liberty to file appropriate proceedings challenging the said order. 7.

Rule is made absolute in the aforesaid terms. No order as to costs.
