Mr.Ingole, the learned counsel submits that the petitioner has been paid an amount of Rs.66765/­ by cheque forwarded to the Jailor, Sindhudurg prison towards arrears of difference of salary from January 2006 to April 2012. The learned counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner would be paid the amount of GPF and GIS within a period of 8 weeks from today. The said statement is accepted.

2] In view of the said statement, Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
