By this application, the Applicant intent to amend the Petition by bringing on record the documentary evidence in relation to the caste entries of the grandfather. The subject matter of the Petition is invalidation of the tribe claim.

Since the documents appear to be relevant for deciding the issue sought to be canvassed in the Petition, we deem it appropriate to allow the application. As such, the application stands allowed in terms of prayer clause 'B'.

Amendment be carried out within two weeks. In case the amendment is not carried out within two weeks, it be presumed that the application is dismissed without further reference to this Court.

We direct the learned AGP to communicate the Caste Scrutiny Committee about the above referred document, which is pre-constitutional era. If so required, they may cause further vigilance enquiry and submit report before this Court within a period of three months from today.
