PER COURT :- 1.

The contempt petition alleges that the contemnor has not followed the orders of this Court and has violated the order dated 16/06/2011, whereby a status quo order was granted with respect to the mutation entries. 2.

In response to the notice issued, a reply has been filed stating that the status quo order was in operation only till 28/07/2011 and that the subsequent extension of the status quo order was not communicated to him. It is stated that, in the absence of such communication, he acted in terms of the orders of the Deputy Registrar of Land Records and effected the mutation entries. However, upon receiving communication of the further orders of this Court on 28/07/2011, the mutation entries were reversed and the status quo, as directed, was maintained.

In view of the affidavit filed, nothing survives in the petition. The petition is, therefore, disposed of.
