The rejoinder sworn by the petitioner on 11-03-2020, pointing out the subsequent events, is placed on record. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that in view of the subsequent events as pointed out in the rejoinder, the grievance of the petitioner as made in the petition does not survive at this stage. Learned advocate for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw the Public Interest Litigation with liberty to agitate the issue of regularization of alternate land as referred in the communication dated 29-12-2017, which is placed on record alongwith rejoinder at Exh.R-1. Petition is disposed as withdrawn with liberty as sought.
