PER COURT :- 1) Heard. The petitioner has tendered an application claiming rehabilitation grant in accordance with the policy prescribed by the State Government on 12.7.2007. However, the application tendered by the petitioner has not yet been decided and the amount of rehabilitation grant receivable by the petitioner has not been determined.

2) In the facts and circumstances of this case, we direct the Collector to determine the rehabilitation grant payable to the petitioner under the policy prescribed by the State Government under Government Resolution dated 15th December, 1983 or any other subsequent resolutions by himself or through his subordinate, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from today. On determination of amount payable to the petitioner as rehabilitation grant, Respondent No.2 shall disburse the amount in accordance with such determination as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four months.

3) With the directions, as above, the writ petition is disposed of.
