PER COURT :

1) These applications are filed seeking extension of time for depositing the amount of compensation in pursuance of the order passed by this Court on 9th March, 2015. Vide the aforesaid order, the appellants were directed to deposit the amount of compensation within the period of 12 weeks from the said order and subject to deposit of the amount, the execution of the impugned Award was stayed by this Court.

2) The learned AGP submitted that for genuine reasons the delay has occurred in complying with the aforesaid order. The learned AGP further submitted that now a cheque of the amount of compensation is received and the same will be deposited in the Registry of this Court. He has, therefore, sought extension of time. The learned Counsel for the claimants does not have any objection for extension of time for depositing the amount. Hence, the following order, -

ORDER

i) The Civil Applications seeking extension of time to deposit the amount are allowed and disposed of;

ii) Office to accept the cheque of the amount of compensation;

iii) In view of the fact that the amount of compensation is received to the learned AGP and the cheque of the said amount is likely to be

deposited by learned AGP within short period, the interim stay, staying the execution of the impugned Award, vide the aforesaid order, stands confirmed.
