The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the validation proceeding in respect of caste claim of the petitioner is pending since 2014. The vigilance is also conducted, however, the petitioner is not allowed to appear for VIIIth semester of B. Pharmacy examination.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1 and 2. Mr. Golewar, the learned advocate accepts notice for the respondent No. 3.

Considering the fact that, the validation proceeding is pending since 2014, we pass following order.

The respondent No. 2/Committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 26th March, 2018. The petitioner shall co-operate in expeditious disposal of the proceeding. The respondent Nos. 3 and 4 shall not refrain the petitioner from filling in the examination form and appearing in the examination only on the ground that the validation proceeding is pending with the Committee. The respondent Nos. 3 and 4, however, shall not issue degree certificate to the petitioner unless and until validity certificate is produced by the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of.
