CORAM : ARUN R. PEDNEKER, J.
Dated : April 01, 2025.
PER COURT :- 1.
Heard the learned counsel for the applicants and the learned APP for the respondent-State.
2.
The learned counsel for the applicants submits that, as far as applicant Shankar S/o Lala Auti in ABA/376/2025 is concerned, his name is not mentioned in the FIR but was included later based on a supplementary Page 1 of
20 ABA 373-2025 statement of the informant. In contrast, the names of the applicants in ABA/373/2025 and ABA/377/2025 are mentioned in the FIR itself. 3.
The incident in question occurred on 06/06/2024, wherein a large number of people allegedly assaulted the informant due to political rivalry. The learned counsel for the applicants contends that the applicant in ABA/376/2025 was implicated only after a supplementary statement recorded on 17/06/2024 other applicants are implicated for the reason of political rivalry although the applicants are not involved in the offence. However, upon perusal of the said supplementary statement, it is evident that a video recording of the incident is available, which clearly shows the applicants assaulting the informant. Furthermore, the medical report indicates that the injuries sustained by the informant are grievous in nature and multiple. Based on the statement recorded and that video recording of the incident, the applicants' involvement in the commission of the assault appears to be direct. 4.
Considering the gravity of the allegations and the evidence on record, no case is made out for granting anticipatory bail to the applicants. Accordingly, the applications stand dismissed. ( ARUN R. PEDNEKER, J. ) vj gawade/-.
