This petition can be disposed of by directing the respondents to take decision on the application tendered by the petitioners for redetermination of amount of compensation payable to them under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today and it is accordingly directed. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. On redetermination of the amount of compensation, the amount so determined shall be disbursed to the petitioners by the respondent No.3 within a period of four months from the date of such determination.
