This application seeks quashing of Crime No. 17/2014 registered with Police Station Sakri, Dist. Dhule. 2.

Respondent No. 2 is the complainant and is present before us. Her complaint was in respect of ill-treatment by her husband and

sgp APPLN1472.2016 in-laws. The parties have now settled the dispute. The complainant has filed an affidavit in which it is stated that, because of the settlement between the parties, she has already filed an application for mutual divorce in Family Court at Pune. As a part of settlement, her husband has agreed to pay her certain amount. Such amount would be paid to her on 04.08.2016.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the application deserves to be allowed.

The application is allowed in terms of prayer clause 'B' subject to compliance of compromise terms.
