The learned counsel submits that the validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending since May 2017. The petitioner has appeared for 03rd Year I st semester M.B.B.S. winter - 2017 examination. The result of the petitioner is with held. 2.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader accepts notice for Respondent Nos. 1 and 4. Mr. Patil accepts notice for the Respondent No.

Considering the fact validation proceeding is pending since May 2017, we pass the following order.

The Respondent No. 4/Committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 26.03.2018 and cooperate in expeditious disposal of the proceeding.

The Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 shall not withhold the result of the petitioners examination only on the ground that the validation proceeding is pending. In case the petitioner is otherwise eligible, the Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 shall not refrain the petitioner from prosecuting further studies and appearing from M.B.B.S. final examination only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
