Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed application seeking rental compensation with the competent authority however no step has been taken on it as yet.

In case the application is filed by the petitioner seeking rental compensation (Exh. C Page

33) then the competent authority shall take decision upon it in accordance with law and after hearing both the parties, expeditiously, preferably within nine months.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
