1] The petition is filed for quashing FIR bearing No. 165 of 2014, registered at Police Station, Loni, Taluka Rahata, Dist. Ahmednagar for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 385, 500 r/w. 34 of IPC. Both sides are present.

2] The affidavit of complainant Smt Shantabai Maruti Shinde is to the effect that parties have settled the dispute. It was a matter of Jat Panchayat. So, this Court took care to see that they have really settled the matter, the so called Jat Panchayat is not functioning and they are not harassing persons of the community for any reason. It is made clear that such activity cannot be tolerated. In view of the nature of the dispute it is in the interest of the society that such disputes are settled amicably. 3] In view of the amicable settlement of dispute, the FIR is quashed and set aside.
