Perused the impugned judgment and order.

The applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for three (3) years and pay fine of Rs.10,000/-, in default, to suffer rigorous imprisonment for six months. He also convicted for the offence punishable under Section 13(1)(d) r/w 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act and

(( 2 )) 920(B)-Cri-Appln-972-2022 sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for four years and to pay fine of Rs.10,000/-, in default, to suffer rigorous imprisonment for six months. The appeal is not likely to come up for hearing in near future. The execution of substantive sentence of imprisonment to stand suspended, pending the appeal. The applicant be released on his executing P. R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand ) with surety bond in the like amount. 4.

The criminal application stands disposed of.
