CIVIL APPLICATION NO. 3491 OF 2025 :

This is an application for withdrawal of amount deposited by the acquiring body. Learned counsel for the non-applicant/acquiring body states that the rate at which compensation is awarded is not in dispute. The dispute is restricted to the interest awarded under Section 34 of the Land Acquisition Act. The total amount deposited by the acquiring body is Rs. 8,07,990/-. In that view of the matter, I am inclined to permit the applicants/land owners to withdraw amount of Rs. 8,00,000/- from the total amount deposited by the acquiring body with this Court. Civil Application is disposed of.

967 ca 3491 2025 CIVIL APPLICATION NO. 3802 OF 2023 :

1.

Since the entire amount is already deposited along with accrued interest, it will be expedient in the interest of justice that execution of impugned judgment and award is stayed till the final disposal of the appeal, subject however, to right of the land owner to move the application for withdrawal of the amount.

Civil Application is disposed of.
