PER COURT :- The application tendered by the petitioner, seeking correction in the school entry, in respect of his caste, is stated to be pending, with the Education Officer, (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Jalna.

For the reasons recoded in the Judgment delivered by this Court, in the matter of Dilip Shivmurti Bondar V/s The State of Maharashtra (Writ petition No.2553 of 2015) decided on 17.4.2015, the instant petition deserves to be allowed. The respondent No.2 is directed to take decision on the application tendered by the petitioner in respect of correction in the school record in accordance with the provisions of Secondary School Code and other relevant regulations, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of 8 weeks from today. Writ petition is disposed of.
