Mr. Kadu, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has filed an application with the Chief Officer, Municipal Corporation, Kopargaon for change in name of the Petitioner in the birth certificate from "Sukhda"

wp3027.16 to "Sayali". In the school record, so also in Adhar Card name of the Petitioner appear as Sayali.

It is only on 24th February 2016 application has been given to the Chief Officer, Municipal Corporation. Some time will be required for the authority to consider the said application and the relevant provisions, circulars to be applied. The authority may decide application of Petitioner on its own merits considering all the relevant aspects, expeditiously.

The Writ Petition disposed of. No costs.
