The order of the District Magistrate under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest (SARFAESI) Act, 2002, is dated 21/04/2022. Respondent No.2/Tahsildar, Shrirampur has still not executed the order when the law mandates that, it should be executed within a period of 30 days.

In view of the above, we direct the District Magistrate, Ahmednager to ensure that the Tahsildar, Shrirampur shall execute the order within a period of 30 days from today, by following the due procedure laid down in law.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed off. If the Tahsildar needs police protection, the concerned police station shall ensure that adequate police protection is granted for taking the physical possession of the mortgaged property.
