We have heard Mr. Nagargoje, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr. Dande, learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents No. 1 and 2 and Mr. Sagar, Killarikar, learned counsel for respondent No. 3.

Grievance of the petitioner is that, the petitioner though officially acting as President is not being allowed to sign the cheques and the cheques are being issued under the sole signature of respondent No. 3 pursuant to notification dated 14-08-2015. According to petitioner, said notification has been stayed by interim order of this court of Principal seat at Bombay.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader states that General Circular has been issued now stating that till interim order dated
2 WP-3085.16 15-02-2015 passed in writ Petitions no. 9297 of 2015 and 9795 of 2015 are in force, said interim orders are to be scrupulously followed.
4. In view of that, the cheques which were issued by the Municipal council shall be issued under the joint signatures of the Chief Officer and President of the Municipal Council.
