2] The limited grievance raised in this petition is that though the proposal for correction of date of birth of the petitioner in the school record was forwarded by respondent no.4 to respondent no.3, no decision was taken on the said proposal by respondent no.3.

2 7-wp3910.odt 3] We, therefore, direct respondent no.3 to take a decision on the proposal of the petitioner, if already not taken, as expeditiously as possible, however, on or before 30th May, 2016. Respondent no.3 to take the decision by keeping in mind the instructions contained in para 26.4 of the S.S. Code. The decision so taken be communicated to respondent no.4.

4] This Writ Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
