PER COURT :- Heard. There is innocuous prayer in the Petition, in as much as, the petitioners seek directions to the Education Officer to decide the proposals for approval for appointment of the petitioners.

We direct the Respondent - Education Officer to take decision on the pending proposals, if already not taken, on its own merits, without raising ground that there are surplus teachers on the Roll of the Education Officer and in view of Government Resolution

3468.16WP dated 2nd May, 2012, no approval can be granted, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably on or before 15th June, 2016 and communicate the said decision to the petitioners. Needless to observe that the Respondent - Education Officer shall afford the opportunity of hearing to the petitioners before taking any decision on the proposals.

The Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
