The learned counsel for the applicant submits that this Court by order dated 23.2.2023 has granted status-quo on concession made by the applicant in Writ Petition No. 2274/2023 along with connected matters, in view of the fact that there was an appeal pending before the Joint Divisional Registrar. The learned counsel for the applicants submits that prior to the order of status-quo, the subject lands mentioned in Writ Petition No. 2276/2023 were taken in possession by the applicant. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that possession is taken, however, there is standing crop in the field of the respondent. 2.

It is hereby clarified that the status-quo granted on 23.2.2023 would mean that the parties whoever in possession on that date to be continued in possession till the decision of the appeal filed before the Joint Divisional Registrar. The original petitioners in Writ Petition No. 2276/2023 are permitted to maintain and harvest the standing crops as and when it becomes due for harvesting.

In view of the same, nothing survives in the civil application. The civil application is disposed of.
