All throughout, the Petitioner's son, Shantanu's date of birth is 29.06.1991. There is no dispute in so for as the date of birth of Shantanu in the school and college record is concerned. The only issue is that the Petitioner never got the birth of Shantanu registered with the Corporation. Yet, the Petitioner for reasons best known to him alone, has acquired an original birth certificate from the Municipal Corporation. We could have directed an enquiry into this entire episode. However, the Petitioner desires to withdraw this Petition and approach the competent Authority in the light of Section 13(3) of the Registration khs/July 2024/6203

- 2 - of Births Deaths Act, 1969 for an order for registering the date of birth of the Petitioner's son Shantanu, in the Corporation records. 2.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with the liberty as prayed for.
