By filing this petition, the petitioner sought benefits as per the guidelines of Government Resolution dated 1.1.1996. 2.

Facts leading to this petition are as under :- The petitioner was working as Fitter Instructor in non teaching staff with Respondent No. 4 and 5 Polytechnic College from 1984 to 1991. Thereafter, he retired from service due to superannuation on 31.1.2002. The grievance of the petitioner is that he was not given benefit of 5th Pay and 6th Pay Commissioner with effect from 1.1.1996. The Respondent stated that, as per the Government Resolution, effect of 5th pay and 6th Pay Commission were given with effect from 1.8.2000 and all arrears are already paid to the petitioner.

In view of this statement, the grievance of the petitioner is already redressed. The petitioner filed rejoinder but did not deny the statement made by respondent in their reply about the payments being made as per 5th pay and 6th pay Commission recommendations.

In view of this, petition does not survive. Petition is dismissed.
