After arguing for some time and after showing disinclination to grant relief to the appellant, the learned counsel for the appellant/ accused requested to expedite the appeal by seeking withdrawal of the application. The accused is behind bar for more than seven years. Under such circumstances, the application for suspension of sentence and release on bail stands disposed of as withdrawn. Appeal be expedited.

If the appeal is not heard within the period of one year, then liberty to renew the request of suspension of sentence and release on bail by the appellant is granted.
