For the reasons separately recorded, the petitions are allowed, thereby quashing and setting aside the order passed by the competent authority

3706.17wp etc (2) either suspending licences of the petitioners for indefinite period or cancelling licences of the petitioner/fair price shop owners. 3.

We further make it clear that if the competent authority finds that there are serious lapses committed by the petitioners, it is not prevented to take appropriate action in view of the provisions of the law, needless to state that by giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. 4.
