In view of the fact that the sport namely, 'Sepak-Takraw' has been deleted from the Government Resolution dated 30th April, 2005 by issuing another Government Resolution dated 6th May, 2008, 5% reservation in the recruitment of services in the Government and Semi-Government to the candidate, participated in the said Sports would not arise.

It appears that in the advertisement, which was issued on 29th April, 2014 by the respondents, the sport, namely, "Sepak-Takraw" was inadvertently mentioned

wp3759-2016 giving 5% reservation for the sports person who has secured first, second or third position in the said sports. The learned Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal on scrutiny of documents placed on record has observed that by issuing the Government Resolution dated 6th May, 2008, the sport, namely, "Sepak-Takraw" from the earlier Government Resolution dated 30th April, 2005, has been deleted.

In that view of the matter, there is no reason to interfere in the impugned judgement and order. Hence, the writ petition stands rejected.
