The grievance raised by the petitioners in the instant petition is that respondent no.3 i.e. the District Collector, Nandurbar, is not considering the objections raised by the petitioners in respect of delimitation of the wards of the Village Panchayat, Bhaler. 2.

An affidavit in reply has been presented on behalf of the Collector wherein it has been stated that the objections raised by the petitioners have been considered and directions are issued to correct certain mistakes while finalizing the delimitation process. Since the objections have been considered by the Collector and the mistakes those occurred in declaring the preliminary notification have been corrected while finalizing the delimitation of wards, the grievance raised by the petitioners in this petition does not deserve consideration. Apart from this, it has been pointed out that the process of election has already commenced with declaration of programme of election. In this view of the matter, the ongoing process of election need not be stalled. Writ Petition is devoid of substance and hence stands disposed of.
