Application filed by petitioners for issuance of tribe certificates is rejected. Appeal against the same is also dismissed.

It is submitted that, the school record of petitioners and their father records tribe as Koli Mahadev (Scheduled Tribe). Even father of petitioners is issued with the tribe certificate. 3.

According to the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the documents are of recent origin. There are no old documents, nor any validity is produced.

At this stage, the Court has to be prima facie satisfied. The school record of petitioners and their father records tribe as Koli Mahadev (S. T.). The father of petitioners is issued with the tribe certificate of Koli Mahadev (S.T.) Even otherwise tribe certificates will be required to be verified by the Committee. There are no contra documents on record.

Considering the above, the impugned orders are quashed and set aside. The respondent/Sub Divisional Officer shall issue tribe certificates to petitioners of Koli Mahadev (S.T.), which tribe certificates will be required to be referred to the Committee for verification.
