The learned counsel for petitioners submits that applications under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act,

2 wp 5391.17+ 1894, are filed with the respondents (Exhibit - A) in both these writ petitions, the same are not yet decided. 2.

Learned Assistant Government Pleaders in respective matters submits that in case the applications are pending, the authorities would decide on its own merits.

In case the applications are filed by the petitioners under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, (Exhibit - A), and if, the same is pending with the authorities, the authorities shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law, after hearing all parties concerned, expeditiously and preferably within nine (9) months.
