This petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to respondent no.02 - Special Land Acquisition Officer or any other officer authorized by the District Collector, to take decision on the application tendered by the petitioner under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, for redetermination of amount of compensation payable to him, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from today, and it is accordingly directed.

On re-determination of amount of compensation, if the petitioner is held entitled for additional compensation, respondents shall pay the amount so determined by the authority, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of such determination. 03.

With the directions, as above, the writ petition is disposed of.
