As limited grievance regarding pendency of application before respondent no. 1 Sub-Divisional Officer, Degloor, for issuance of caste certificate, is raised in the petition, by consent, the petition is disposed of at admission stage.

Documents are placed on record to submit that petitioner belongs to Koli Mahadev Scheduled Tribe category. Petitioner submitted application to the office of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Degloor, alongwith necessary documents, seeking issuance of caste certificate. Copy of the proforma application is also placed on record. Copy of receipt is also placed on record to submit that application was submitted to the authority on 03.06.2017. Necessary fees was also paid on the very date i.e. 03.06.2017. The

{2} wo3618.19.odt application is also accepted by the authority under the seal and signature. Thus, submission is, though the application is filed in the year 2017, till the date of filing of the petition, no caste certificate was issued to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that petitioner is a minor student being represented through her brother and, is in dire need of caste certificate so as to submit claim in her future academic career and for the professional courses, if such occasion arises.

In view of above, the petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no. 1 - Sub-Divisional Officer, Degloor to issue caste certificate to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible and not later than six weeks from the date of receipt of order of this Court. 6.

Learned AGP to communicate this order to respondent no. 1, forthwith.
