We have heard Mr. Lute, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.P. for respondent-State.

The affidavit is filed by Sub Divisional Officer, Bhokardan, District Jalna on behalf of respondent no.2 and stated that the bills have been prepared by Executive Engineer, Zilla Parishad, Jalna and forwarded to the District Treasury for payment to the petitioner an amount of Rs.45,00,452/-. The said bills are now with the Treasury Office Jalna. It is further stated in the affidavit that the office of the Sub Divisional Officer and the Collector will ensure that the amount is paid by the District Treasury to the

(2) 913-wp-7346-2016 petitioner within a period of 5 to 6 days. The amount shall be deposited in the account of the petitioner or paid by cheque to the petitioner within a period of one week.

Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of. No costs.
