VERSUS

LIMBABAI RUPBUWA GIRI, DIED, THROUGH L.Rs. JALINDAR AND ANR.

WITH CA/4721/2012 IN FAST/8169/2012 WITH CA/4725/2012 IN FAST/8172/2012 WITH CA/4722/2012 IN FAST/8169/2012 WITH CA/4724/2012 IN FAST/8161/2012 WITH CA/4726/2012 IN FAST/8172/2012 ---- Mr.Y.G.Gujrati, AGP for applicants ---- CORAM : R.G. AVACHAT, J.

DATE : AUGUST 17, 2021 ORDER :- Heard.

2.

There is delay of little over 367 days in preferring the appeals against the award passed by the reference Court in Land Acquisition References. These applications have been moved way back in 2012. Till this date, the matters had never been circulated. Same shows lethargy on the part of the applicant-State. Moreover, in two matters, enhancement of compensation is not more than four times of

39-ca.4723-12 and ors the amount offered by the S.L.A.O. In other matter, the enhancement is slightly more than four times i.e. close to five times. Usual reasons have been given for condonation of delay. The same are unacceptable.

3.

In the circumstances, the applications for condonation of delay stand rejected.

4.

In view of the above, the applications for stay are disposed of.
