1] The petitioner shall satisfy the Taxing Officer. 2] This petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to the respondents to take decision on the application tendered by the petitioners u/s 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from today, and it is accordingly directed.

WP 3088/16 - 2 - 3] On re-determination of the amount of compensation, if the petitioners are held to be entitled to receive the additional sum, the respondent no.3 shall pay the amount so determined under the award as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four months from the date of such determination.

4] With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
