On 21.07.2017 on this petition, the following order was passed:

1) Let Shri A.B. Girase, learned Government Pleader, take instructions from the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sub-Divisional Office, Sillod Tq.Sillod, Dist. Aurangabad, regarding pendency of an application made by the petitioner for alteration in the mutation entry.

2) We do not think that it enhances the prestige and reputation of the State, and particularly the District Collectorate, when such matters are pending and remain undecided, forcing the parties, like the petitioner, not only to file initially a writ petition and complaining about non-compliance of the directions therein, subsequently a contempt petition.

Today, when this matter was placed, the learned A.G.P. on instructions from Mr. Santhosh Gorad, Tahsildar, Sillod who is present in Court, informs that within two weeks from today the pending proceedings will be disposed of.
