Leave to correct the name of respondent no.5 is granted. Correction be carried out forthwith.

The objection raised by the petitioner seeking deletion of names of respondent nos.6 to 61 from the final voters list of respondent no.5 - Society in view of the order dated 16/02/2022 passed by the respondent No.4 is turned down. Hence, the present petition. 3.

The final voters list is declared on 31/01/2022 and thereafter, the election programme is declared on 16/02/2022 and the voting is scheduled on 28/03/2022. In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petition as it would amount to interference in the election process.

In view of the decision in Dattatray Genaba Lole and Others Vs. The Divisional Joint Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Pune and Others, reported in 2022(1) BomCR 471, the petitioner has alternate remedy.

In that view of the matter, writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to avail alternate remedy. All contentions of the petitioner are kept open.
