The applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 498A and 306 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for seven (7) years and pay total fine of Rs.7,000/-, in default, to suffer simple imprisonment for two months. The appeal is not likely to come up for hearing in near future. The execution of substantive sentence of

(( 2 )) 919(B)-Applnl-971-2022 imprisonment to stand suspended, pending the appeal. The applicant/appellant be released on his executing P. R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand ) with surety bond in the like amount.
