ORDER :

We have heard learned Counsel for the petitioner. By order dated 14th March 2022 we adjourned the matter since the respondent State had a short notice of the petition. The programme was proposed to be scheduled on 14th March 2022 in the evening from 6.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. However, as on today there is no reason to decide as to whether the respondent-Authority has rightly refused the permission to arrange the programme on the said day or not. 2.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitioner would now propose

(2) 947 criwp-401.2022.odt another date and fle a detailed application for seeking permission with the respondent - Authority. Learned Public Prosecutor Mr. Kale submits that if such application is fled for seeking permission afresh, the same will be considered on it's own merits.

In view of the above, this criminal writ petition is hereby disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to fle appropriate application before the respondent - Authority, if so desired, and upon fling such application seeking permission to arrange the programme on the issue of "Mohammad (s) Paigambar Bill and Felicitation of Hiab Girl Bibi Muskan", the respondent - Authority to consider the same on it's own merits. We expect from the Authority to decide the application at the earliest within a reasonable time before the scheduled date, in any case.
