CORAM :

DATE :

2.

This application has been moved for permission to go abroad. The applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 143 read with Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment for six months and to pay fine of Rs.1000/-, in default to suffer S.I. for 10 days. The applicant is also convicted for the offence punishable under Section 353 read with Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment for one year and to pay fine of

Rs.1000/-, in default to suffer S.I. for 10 days. 3.

The applicant is a Cabinet Minister for Agriculture. He proposes to go abroad. A schedule of his visit abroad has been given in the application itself. On earlier occasion, he had been permitted to go abroad vide order dated 28/8/2018. The appeal is of the year 2016. It is not likely to be heard in immediate future. Considering the applicant to be a Cabinet Minister, there is least likelihood of him fleeing away the country. In view of the same, the criminal application is, therefore, allowed in terms of prayer clause (B). 4.

On his return from abroad, the applicant shall report to this Court.
