Though the petitioner has preferred statutory appeal before the Chief Executive Officer on 24.02.2025, he is old enough to present petition to this court invoking the powers section 226 by filing the petition on 10th March, 2025.

Nothing is on the record to demonstrate about the respondent/ Chief Executive Officer having abdicated his public law duty inviting any cognizance by this court under the extraordinary jurisdiction conferred upon it under Article 226. The petition is dismissed.
