Petitioner is praying for issuance of directions to respondents to entrust the additional charge of the post of Child Development Project Officer since according to her, she is the senior most employee and holds necessary qualification.

It is not the legal entitlement of petitioner to claim the additional charge of the superior post and, if petitioner claims the post on the basis of merit or seniority and if such claim is denied, it would be open for the petitioner to avail of the remedies available in law for redressal of grievance at an appropriate stage. As on today, according to us, there is no cause for the petitioner to approach the Court. In exercise of extra ordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the grievance raised by petitioner in the instant petition need not be entertained.
