The petitioner has put forth prayer clause B as under :- "B) By appropriate writ in the nature of certiorari or any other writ of like nature or by appropriate directions or orders the directions may be given to the respondents no.2 to decide the gram panchayat dispute No.09/2022 within a stipulated period." 2.

We have considered the submissions of the learned advocates for the respective sides and the learned AGP. The Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act prescribes the procedure and

*2* 917wp3935o22 duration of 60 days for deciding the proceedings with regard to the disqualification under Section 14. The petitioner has lodged his complaint in July, 2021 and the said proceedings are registered in 2022 and numbered as Gram Panchayat Dispute No.09/2022.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off.

We expect respondent No.2/ Collector to decide the dispute filed by the petitioner within 60 days from the date of appearance of the parties, on it's own merits.
