Present Application has been filed seeking extension of time limit by another 90 days for release of the accrued interest on IGST refund in terms of the Judgment passed by this Court on 9th February 2024 in Writ Petition No.10716 of 2023. The learned Advocate for the applicant / original respondents as well as learned Advocate for original petitioner accept that the principal amount as per the order passed by this Court in the Writ Petition has been paid to the petitioner however only the amount of interest is remaining.

The applicants have given their own difficulties in the Application and taking into consideration those difficulties but in a way assuring that the said accrued interest would be released within another 90 days, the Application stands allowed and disposed of in terms of prayer clause "B". Time to run from today.
