In all these petitions, petitioners are challenging the SVH

2 57-WP-3383-17(R).odt respective final show-cause notices issued to them by the Chief Executive OfÏcer, Zilla Parishad. In March, 2017 this Court issued notices to the respondents and protected services of the petitioners observing that, 'till the next date adverse action may not be taken against petitioners pursuant to the impugned notices'. Almost nine years period is lapsed since the date of above order. 2.

During pendency of these writ petitions, the petitioners retired on superannuation.

In view of subsequent development, we quash and set aside the impugned show-cause notices and action pursuant thereto. Respondents are directed to extend all the retiral consequential pecuniary benefits to the petitioners within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 4.
