The petitioner is seeking direction to be appointed on regular basis as Capacity Builder under Block Mission at Bhokardan or for a re-appointment.

The petitioner was appointed on contract basis for a period of 11 months. According to the petitioner, contract of the petitioner was wrongfully terminated.

Even assuming that the contract was wrongfully

2 26 sr.no. terminated, that cannot translate into a right to be appointed on regular basis in the establishment, also, for a reappointment. Such a writ, directing the petitioner to be appointed on contract basis again cannot be issued. There is reason why the contract was not continued till the full term. As regards the grievance of the petitioner for wrongful termination of the contract, it is open for the petitioner to adopt such remedies, as are available in law, such as damages etc.

Writ petition is accordingly rejected.
