This Writ Petition is filed in 2004 questioning order of transfer of petitioner from one department to other. At interim stage, the petitioner was protected by an order of status quo passed by this Court. In the mean'time, on 16th November, 2013, the Food and Civil Supplies Department changed its policy and declared that they would not get persons from other department on transfer. In view of this statement, the apprehension of the petitioner is mitigated. The petition stands disposed of in terms of earlier order passed by this Court on 5th May, 2004.
