1. The present application for amendment is filed at pre-admission stage of the petition.

Perusal of the application would indicate that sufficient cause is made out for granting leave to amend the petition. In view thereof, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (B).

Necessary amendment be carried out within three weeks from today and an amended copy of the petition be served upon the learned counsel for the respondents within the same stipulated period. 3.
