The learned counsel for petitioners submits that, the petitioners have filed applications U/Sec. 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act. Same are not decided. The learned A. G. P. accepts notice for all respondents in Writ Petition No. 540 of 2021 and for respondent Nos. 1 and 2 in Writ Petition No. 541 of 2021.

In case applications of the petitioners filed U/Sec. 28-A of the L. A. Act are pending with the respondent No. 2, then the respondent No. 2 shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy, after hearing all the parties concerned, expeditiously and preferably within a period of eight
